My love for weddings and events began very early in life. I am a second-generation wedding and event designer/planner. Looking back, I cannot remember a time when my mom was not designing, planning, and/or staging some kind of amazing event. Weddings, receptions, engagement parties, luncheons, corporate events, fundraisers, anniversaries, birthday parties, bridal or baby showers...she had the unique ability to turn whatever she touched into a work of art, a thing of beauty—creating ambiance that was always admired. From my youngest years, I was intently watching, and later, shadowing and assisting. Living this “eventful” life with my mom, inspired me with a passion and love for the privilege and process of creating and expressing beauty in the context of celebrating life’s most anticipated days.

In college, my love for event planning met with many opportunities—only this time, I was solo. I was hired as the director of events and catering for a non-profit organization. Working as a team of one is never easy, but it was amazing training and experience, and the precursor for the life I am living, now.

In 2010, I married my darling husband, Richard Crawford, and before our first anniversary, we were blessed with our precious daughter, Caileigh Bright. A year later, we relocated from Kansas City, Missouri, to the Gulf Coast, just north of Orange Beach, Alabama. Event planning, design, and catering went into high gear, as my husband became the director of a non-profit organization dedicated to restoring the lives of troubled young men (Youth-Reach Gulf Coast). Again, I was given an opportunity to do what I love, but this time in the context of fundraising for a wonderful ministry.

In February of 2015, we welcomed our second precious baby girl, Catherine Elizabeth Lee, “Cate”. I absolutely love being a mom. Celebrating this life of beauty and wonder with my little women is a continual delight and a privilege for which I am so very thankful. A few of my favorite things are: discovering new and amazing recipes, bringing beauty into my home, and helping friends do the same. For me, the real gift is spending time treasuring and loving the people in my life, and I am always on the lookout for ways to do that more effectively.

I would love to get to know you and share your dreams for one of the most anticipated days of your life. It would be an honor to work with you to make those dreams a reality.
